FSU being 5th shows why RPI is a joke. They have the easiest regional, imo.

While our RPI is higher than the Lafayette and Rice regional; I wouldn't trade with them

All that really shows is that Indiana and ULL have really bad 4 seeds. ULL's 2 and 3 seeds both have RPIs inside the top 40.

Every single team in LSU's regional got the auto-bid from winning their conference tournament (not like LSU and Houston would have missed out anyway).

Apparently GA Southern has a good #1 pitcher. tPOS picked Florida State to lose their opener. Also said Kennesaw State isnt as bad as their record, they have won 23 out of 24. He had Bama going to the CWS.

To me on paper it looks like one of the easier ones other than Indianas.

Exactly plus you might not even play all the teams in your regional.

Committee only looked at the RPIs of the top 3 seeds when trying to make the regionals "equal".

El oh el.

USL actually does have a tough regional with Moo State and their Super pairing with Ole Piss will also be a challange. Time to see if they are the real deal or not. Would love to have to LSU and USL in Omaha.

Is this inclusive of the 4th seed? If so thats not really a fair comparison because of the nature of fourth seed RPIS (like Youngstown or Jackson State).

Re-run it with 1-3 and lets see how that compares.

ETA-I guess Im not the only one with this thught!
