What's the overall opinion on who's going to have the biggest impact season? It could be Brandon Harris if he wins the job, maye fournette running for a thousand yards, Malachi dupre hauling in touchdowns or trey Quinn dominating the wideout. Defensively I can see ed Paris making a strong case for himself and maybe Adams busting heads from safety if he gets in and puts in work. But we can't count out Valentine or Clifton garret either.

Four net and Chi. Garret could most likely take DJ's job if he could learn the mental game well enough. Even though that's a long shot, I could see Garret on the field on short yardage situations and maybe even in the red zone and against run heavy teams.

We can't forget about the Might Quinn. We've lost Jarvis' hands but don;t count Quinn out as our possession rec halfway thru the season.

I really like Voohries too.

I am not so sure about Adams but I could see the staff replacing Mills with Adams on short down situations.

Biggest impact is easily Harris. The kid is going to be the starting qb. Hard to make more of an impact than that. If Fournette makes it a close 2nd we will be great.

I just don't see the young guys on defense being able to have as much impact as Harris and fournette. There will be guys who contribute there, but you don't see many freshmen with an opportunity like Harris and fournette will have. Adams on special teams could be a nice impact

It's about talent and preparation, on one hand, and opportunity on the other. The best opportunity is at one of the safety positions, there we have Vooheries, Battle and Adams. Who knows if any will be studly enough to win it. Once upon a time Craig Loston was the flavor of the year, and he required three years before he reached journeyman status.

At RB the opportunity isn't great, but the incoming talent is thought to be overwhelming. If so, LF could be the biggest impact.

At QB, if Harris wins the job he'll certainly win this argument for some people. The impact will be big, but will it be positive?

The other two positions that have decent opportunities matched with incoming talent that might be SEC-ready are DT (Valentine) and WR (Dupre and Quinn). I don't think Valentine will be any more ready than Bain was last year. And those WRs will have to climb over quite a few competitors.

The season's outcome will rest on Harris' shoulder. That's about as much responsibility as a true freshman can have. Positive or not, it will be the biggest factor of our level of success and it's hard to imagine a bigger impact.

However, there have been cases where young rbs have taken over for us and arguably had a big or at some points a bigger impact than our qbs offensively. Justin Vincent took over games by the end of his freshman campaign.

There will be several guys out of this class to contribute. Harris, fournette, dupre/quinn, Adams will make weekly contributions. Paris is probably in the 2 deep before long as well.

Top 4 (in this order)
1. LF
2. Dupree
3. Harris
4. Gamble ( Yes, a fresh kick-off speciliast who has a Cannon for a leg. )

I wouldn't sleep on jacory Washington. Elite of elite Josh Gordon type talent that can really help a young qb who could be looking to check down a lot and he's a matchup nightmare. That role may go to desean Smith, but Washington is a freak athlete(won the all American skills challenge). Either way, buga, Harris, Malachi, Washington, Quinn and upchurch all seem poised to help right away on offense. Defensively I expect secondary guys like battle, Adams and Paris to be ready day 1. The front 7 is full of talent but usually takes longer for them to make an just impact. I'm a big fan of our late Texas pickups in particular

LSU has 6-8 players that should make Freshman All-SEC and could push for 1st or 2nd team that haven't played a snap yet.

Scary. Last year's class was amazing.
