Exactly. Quit crying, it's time to move on. We still have a damn good team.

I hate Mexican soccer, but I do not wish the terrible fate we had today on them. I hope they get their asses kicked, but they do not deserve to have Chicarito cut from their squad for bullshite reasons (unless you count Vela telling them to frick off).

Take this shite out of here. This is a Patriotic Thread. No Bitching. Love USA, hate Mexico. Nothing else.

Vela vs the Mexican Federation is like the Donovan situation times 1,000.

Donovan is a very laid back guy. Vela is an arrogant a-hole who knows he is a fricking awesome player and won't apologize for his partying when he's still better than everyone else.

that's fine but this is a message board centered around soccer discussion. the roster choices are going to be a very large part of the discussion leading up to and during the world cup. that's just kinda how it works. you aren't gonna be able to avoid it.

but yes, the whole time it is #TeamUSA

RIP Giovani Dos Santos' butthole. Coach may not let the players leave the hotel to score but that dude is definitely getting pillaged by his roommate.

Quit acting like this isn't the best news ever. Because it is.

Yeah it's just a few posters whining and bitching gets old fast. There's only so much that can be said and discussed about it right now

This guy really like LD. Like a whole lot. It's kind of intriguing.

He is one of a few hyper-Donovanists among us who think Jurgen deserves an automatic firing for this and/or toying with the idea of "secretly" rooting for the USMNT to bomb in Brazil so they can be right. And, if you started liking soccer because of Landon Donovan, I can understand your anger. I can't understand some of your opinions, though.

it's supposed to be fun or at least entertaining for you. that's why shite like this exists. if you get annoyed at going back and forth with others on sports issues, this probably isnt the place for you. you don't come to just have everyone agree with what you say/think. would ruin the whole point of message boards.

How is it a good thing? You think Davis gives us a better chance in Brazil? Green? Or now that Jurgen doesn't have the pressure to play him, we can start Bedoya instead?

Please give me your logic for why this is so great.

Donovan is the reason I love soccer. He is arguably my favorite athlete, and he provided me with my favorite sports memory ever.

This is not true at all. I do not want Jurgen to be the coach, but I want the US to do as well as possible. Seems like this is a wildly popular on an LSU message board.

Cool. Every athlete comes to the end of the road. Sometimes you don't get to choose, though. That's tough. That's life. But I don't expect the LD fanboys to take this lightly.

I mean, you did say this during one of the earlier threads this afternoon. I said "toying" for a reason.

Or anyone. I am almost to the point where I want 0 points and an awful GD to get Klinsmann fired.

The fact that you were "almost" to that point is ridiculous. Why would you ever be close to wanting your team to lose every match? GTFO.
