Is AT&T park safe walking distance from downtown hotels/bars?

What are some good downtown bars for 30+ crowd?

Best downtown hotel that's close to everything?

Thanks!

Any of the hotels near the aquarium are close to the stuff you want to see as a tourist. Marriott Courtyard is nice on that side.

AT&T park is right near the hotel and aquarium.

You can really stay anywhere in downtown and take the free buses to everywhere.

The Aquarium side of town is a little safe than near the TVA complex. It gets rougher around here at night.

I believe so. Even if it's not, there is parking near. What's up? Going to a Lookouts game? Make sure and checkout Coolidge Park; it's a legit city park.

Yeah, it's down pretty close to the aquarium IIRC. Courtyard and Doubletree are probably the closest. Have fun. Love that town.

Best bars

I like the northshore a bit better for bars, you can walk to most of these, but it will be a long walk.

Brewhaus is decent if you like German fusion food

Treemont Tavern has a good selection of beers and really good burgers

Aretha Frankensteins if you want pancakes.

Honest Pint is good, this one is a good walk, but on the same side of the river. It's close to the TVA complex

Big River if you want something close to your hotel that has a decent in house micro brew, is a chain bar

The Terminal is another good bar/restaurant, this one is way on the other side of town next to the Choo Choo

We have a Taco Mac downtown if that is your thing, it's closer to the aquarium side of town

Thanks guys. Buddy is in a wedding and decided to drive up today to check out Chattanooga. He's a baseball fan so I figured Lookouts would be fun.

Any advice for doing something outside tomorrow?

Rock City stuff, Incline railway, check out point park, lookout mountain in general.

Raccoon Mountain is kinda neat to check out, they have mountain bike trails if you are into that. They have a cool overlook at the visitors center of the Tennessee "Grand Canyon."

The aquarium is pretty legit, especially the river building.

Chattanooga brewing company is suppose to be opening a restaurant type place, friends with the owners, they make a good brew. Not sure if they are open on Fridays, I know they are on saturdays.

The walking bridge across the river downtown is a nice walk.

Coolidge park is nice as mentioned.

Chickamauga Battlefield is pretty decent to see.

Whatever you do, make sure Champy's Fried Chicken is included in your dining rotation.

Downtown Chattanooga is great, and so is AT&T park. Tons of stuff to do.

Champy's is great, probably my favorite restaurant in Chattanooga since Market Street Tavern had their implosion. Owner is from Louisiana I believe.

Lupi's has good pizza, but it's very Mellow Mushroomish.

If you like Little Debbie snacks, go to the Little Debbie store in Collegedale. You can get full boxes for about .50.
