Golf tidbit for all enthusiats

I am currently trying to get on Los Angeles CC or Riviera CC while out in Los Angeles for business. So I started reading about the clubs and came across this story which chronicles only 23 men ever to play the top 100 clubs in the world.

I was able to knock out 6 courses by age 16 but have only done 1 more in the next 7 years

The closest I've come to sniffing a course on that list was when I had a tee time at Colonial. Got on a plane and when I landed in Dallas, our host had gotten called out of town on business. Ended up playing Cowboys... Which I thought was an overrated POS. Also had an awards banquet at Interlachen where Bobby Jones won the US Open en route to the Grand Slam. Have a picture of me standing on the balcony overlooking the Lilly Pad Shot hole. Didn't get to play it. Just haven't gotten to play one of those super hard to get on places. I have a row on my golf ball rack reserved for those.

My dad has played 4 of the top 10 I think. 3 definitely in Augusta, pebble, and St. Andrews. Closest ill get most likely is vicariously through him.

I got 2 on that list. Pebble and Spyglass Hill.
I'd like to hear how he got on some of the other courses like Cypress Point and Pine Valley. I know it's close to impossible these days.

Was wondering this as well.
I've played Harbour Town and that's the only Top 100 I've played. I also got to walk Merion one time but did not play.

Spyglass Hill. Most difficult course I've played.
