Rolling Stone showing its arse on this topic, too. Rolling Stone are SNL are now officially for old people, and is the mouthpiece for people telling kids to "get off their lawn". it's quite the shocking development

this is just a rejection of the popular. electronica has been around for decades now. if you weren't complaining around at least the turn of the century, you should just stay quiet.

I had people share this on FB, when in fact they are the ones the video is making fun of. That crowd is so oblivious.

Thats just dumb of you think that way imo. Some people dont take themselves too seriously.

I was laughing real hard at it knowing exactly it was taking shots at my ilk. It was hilarious.

If anything you are showing your arse on the topic. SNL demonstrated everything thats wrong with this new wave of American EDM. These new DJ's are literally doing nothing on stage, everything is pre-made and mapped. No beat-matching or spontaneous mixing. They are more interested in throwing cake parties.

SNL nailed it

You get that even Florida Georgia Line, one of the most hated bands on this forum, can strum a G chord? It's actually harder than pressing a button

shite Ragers Say is pretty cringe worthy because I think all the kids are skrildawg/PL fam ragers irl. I just watched this video last night and thought it was pretty damn funny

It's easy to make a generalization like this. There are legitimately very talented electronic artists out there. The skit is making fun of the hyper-popular ones (and their worshipers) that fricking blow and don't do anything on stage, such as Skrillex.
