Anyone ever been to Belize?

Taking a cruise this summer and one of the stops is Belize. Any recommended excursions?

Yes, do the underground cave tubing. Don't be surprised if your vehicle is stopped and searched by soldiers.

yes, there are day trips that take you four wheeling in the rain forest, followed by cave tubing, then a nice lunch, one of the best things we did there

i have been several times, but in all honesty all i did was dive. i did not really check out the island.

i did walk around in the old capital and saw some of the maya sites

you better belize it. do one of the combo tour -- city tour combined with whatever interests you -- mayan ruins, zoo, airboat, etc.

Also go to Altun Ha and check out the Jade Jaguar mask site. Pretty cool.

Cave tubing was one of the coolest things ever. I would highly recommend it.
