I've always heard you can pick up shrimp right from the dock next to the Hard Rock. Does anyone have experience with this?

TIA

They're may be a few more shrimpers hanging it up before long, BP's en banc request was just properly kicked the the curb. one down, one to go.

What's this mean?

Hopefully the upcoming shrimp season is better than the last one.

Jason, I originally misspoke. One of BP's request for the 5th Circuit to reverse itself on an important ruling was just denied. Another request is still pending, but should meet it's just fate soon. Unfortunately, lots of legal wrangling still to go, but you are closer to recovery now.

BP is going to drag that thing on forever.

Yep. Plain as day, that's the strategy. Limey bastards speak with forked tongue.

Jason, the other rehearing request was denied, too. Call your counsel in a day or two, and you'll get some advice on where things are heading.

Show up in the morning with your cooler and ice when the boats pull in from dragging all night, they'll cut you a decent deal before the market buyer shows up. One of my former neighbors docks his shrimpboat there, King Arthur.

When you're done, throw the cooler in the truck and cross the parking lot for breakfast at McElroy's.

Go on the Gulfport CL see if someone is selling shrimp and order from them.

Between 7:30-9am. If you're in town for a couple of days, check the day before to verify when they'll return, most of those boats there don't do long extended trips like the big Vietnamese boats, they shrimp overnight and sell the next day.
