I just made a tee time for next Monday (Memorial Day). Flying in on Monday and plan on playing in the afternoon with a caddie.

Looking forward to it. Anyone have any experience there?

Edit: RA'd to move to MSB.

Only interested in his opinion if he has played there or designed the course. Thanks.

Yes. I've played there twice. It's been a few years though. Great course, but it is tough especially if the greenskeeper has let the rough grow high.

I believe there is a plaque on Hole 6 where John Daly made an 18.

Which of the 18 locations did they put the plaque?

Spring aerification starts on Tuesday, May 27th. I scheduled the tee time on the last day that the course was open before the greens get punched.

That makes sense.

I need an Orlando TD'er to get me a turf internship at Bay Hill next year.

Shot 79 from tips at Byron Nelson los calinas two weeks ago.

Greens were not too fast.
Fairways were resembling of a green that hadn't been mown inb3-4 days.
Marshall said 2.5 months been cart path only.

Oh yeah knocked it to 4 ft on 17.
179 yard.

Played it a few times. Live right down the road from the course. Play the challenger / championship 18 combo so you can play the same 18 the pros play. Be prepared, pretty tough track. Look for the table behind the starter shack at 1. Arnie has lunch there a lot. If he's there feel free to go talk to him. Unbelievably nice guy.

Do you have to special request the combo? I did not realize that the pros did not play the standard 18 (outside of the challenger).

A lot of courses with multiple 18's reroute or change the numbering to suit tournament needs/challenges.

Not sure. Just call the pro shop and they'll tell you.
