If you had to choose between SAMs or Costco?

My SAMs card expired so were debating on either continuing our SAMs card or getting a costco card.
If you had to choose, which one would you get?

Costco IMO but it doesn't matter. Costco liquor store is legit but you don't need a membership to go to it.

i have Sams membership so it's better.
i have a costco membership so it's better.
repeat over and over.

I was going to do the costco thing. I heard it's the same as SAMs. So why switch....
There's another reason I won't join costco... But that subject has been beaten to death. :beatdeadhorse:

Costco.
They have better products than Sam's.

This essentially is a Target vs. Walmart question.

both are overpriced and feed on the idiot's notion that if you buy in bulk you will save money
that was the case many years ago and is the case in some situations, but not with Costco or Sams.
they own idiots. price items by the ounce vs in the grocery and you'll see.

What if you want to buy in bulk (regardless of price)?

Speaking of idiots, you sound like one. All things are not cheaper but many are. I currently have a SAMs membership, but getting ready to head to Costco and sign up. Many more store brand items than Sams.

was at costco recently
bone in chicken breasts $4/lb
went to treasure island. better chicken was $2/lb
it's the reg too. people are just idiots in general. that's how sams and costco have turned such huge profits the last ten years. initially sell at discount. convince people it's cheaper. raise the price. people don't notice because preconceptions weigh more heavily in the minds of the idiotic masses than reality. profit.

I have both, but the costco by my house better managed. It's a moot point on the products they sell.

You're really wrong.
I price by ounce everything on my phone in the store and the store brand costco/sams stuff is much cheaper than anything else.
Also, toilet paper, paper towels, deodorant, shampoo, etc. are all much cheaper when you buy in bulk. You probably shouldn't go to Costco for bone-in-chicken breasts
