Sams boneless skinless breasts are 1.88/lb. All day every day. 90/10 hamburger meat 3.18/lb. Milk is 2.39/gal.

Canned veggies are a pretty good deal as well.

Kirkland > Great Value

There's one product that is identical but packaged differently. That's a fact. So I hear.

both are overpriced and feed on the idiot's notion that if you buy in bulk you will save money

that was the case many years ago and is the case in some situations, but not with Costco or Sams.

they own idiots. price items by the ounce vs in the grocery and you'll see.

Or maybe I don't mind paying to shop in a store where there is ZERO wait time, friendly staff, a clean store and I don't have to be around Baton Rouge trash when I shop.

There's more to consider about the membership than price alone.

I have both and prefer Sam's but the nearest Sam's is 45 minutes from me and Costco is only 5 minutes from me. I generally just go to Costco.

Cosco is like Target to Walmart. They also have beeter quality store brand, and their deals for membership (like travel and etc) more than pay for the membership.

(I save $2k on a vacation with kids fly free and free stay for them and $400 Executive membership credit)

My take I have a membership to both. Sam's has more selection but Costco has better quality stuff. My .02

There's another reason I won't join costco... But that subject has been beaten to death.

why because the workers are treated well and the founder makes less than a mil a year so the Libs love the structure?

No. That's not it. I had no idea. Good for them.

Good paying jobs at Costco is a subject that's been beaten to death here? I never saw those threads...

I think they're basically the same. I'd probably choose the closer store if I were you.
