Grilling chops and getting a few good beers in before we head down to the Fest.

Nice!!! I have a 3:30 closing today, so FBD will have to wait. I did just open a BXN box full of goodness from the NW, so that helps a bit. Thanks Jax!

NOLA Smokehouse. The corn pudding was really tasty. Slaw was very different, not in a bad way. Not particularly bold tasting. Potatoes were okay. Pickles sucked.
As far as meats, I'd say the sausage was my running away favorite. Pulled pork wasn't bad either. Burnt ends were disappointing, I've heard people rave about them and I thought they were just okay. The brisket was mediocre.
All in all, I prefer The Joint. Plus The Joint has potato salad.

Nice haul... I'm to a point now where I refuse to use screw top style growlers. They are convenient in that they fit in the fridge easily but they leak every time I ship them. I'm using swing tops only from here on out...
