Yes. That's the only place open regularly that I know of too. It's located across the Old Bridge, off Hwy 1 near the WBR Parish Prison. You don't have to be a member to shoot skeet/trap/clays. Skeet/Trap costs $10 and Sporting Clays costs $24. They are open Wednesday-Sunday 930am-6pm. They usually have some kind of event on Saturdays so call before you go. (225) 387-3507.

Not really near BR but Sherburne had a decent setup with three mechanical throws. It been a while since Ive been, so not sure if they still have this.

It's still there. About a 40 minute trip from BR and it's free.

They have a shotgun field with mechanical throwers and one with automatic throwers. You have to track down someone to unlock the autothrower sheds and it seems like they're always broken anyway. We always go to the mechanical thrower field.

We make good use of the pistol range too.

Hunter's Run has first class skeet & trap fields. Machines are well-maintained. $10 per round for non-members (25 targets). Trap machines are voice activated.

Sporting clays at HR consists of an 8 station course (50 targets) during the week. Cost for 50 targets = $24 for non-members.

On Thursday afternoons there is a "fun shoot" sporting clays tournament (50 targets) and the cost is $16 (members and non-members).

About once a month HR hosts a registered sporting clays tournament. Cost is usually around $65 for 100 birds -- course usually consists of 14-15 stations.

Rifle and pistol range is rudimentary, and use is limited to members and to guests who are accompanied by members.

Enforcement of basic safety rules is pretty lax.
