I judge this as the girl was impaired in some manner, caused an accident. Then in order to save face with her family she came up with this shitty story.

Stuff happens all the time, both ways...cops overstep or people like her lie to cover their arse.
There should be a dash cam of the field sobriety tests at the least.
I thought he demanded a blood test. She never mentions it again and only speaks of her release later...

I've see it happen with my own eyes. Downtown Lafayette a guy throws a cigarette butt on the ground, cops tell him pick it up. He explains there are buts on the ground already and he isn't picking it up. 5 cops beat him with nightsticks and Macedonia him point blank in the eyes. A sight to see.

Yeah handcuffs don't burn people. If the cuffs were shut too tight, I could understand a bruise but not a burn.
Now the air bag probably burned her if that came out. Now that's pretty believable.
I'm gonna go with she screwed up and made up a gigantic story about oh pitty me to try and save her butt.

There are two sides to every story & a bit of truth in both. Those marks on her were not caused by cuffs & I doubt SHE was placed in a holding area with men. Do I doubt the cop could've gotten a little rough, no but at the same time, her story sounds like someone looking for some free money. If the other people involved in the accident saw what she describes, I'm pretty sure they would be willing to at least give a statement but yet, she hasn't heard back from them.
