True story today w/ dee smith on WWL radio w/ AUDIO!!!

They were talking about that WC bill and all that drama shite. It was asked why benson would want to do this, demaurice said I got 6 letters for you ... G. R. E. E. D.....

I saw your post in the other thread and you obviously know nothing about what this law is changing.
They are making so pro athletes aren't paid based off of the last year like the rest of us.
They will only be paid based off of the last few weeks so if an injury happens in the offseason and they get released they aren't getting a portion of that big salary you see. They will be getting less than many off us get because the pay in the offseason is meager.
This is particularly devastating to an UDFA as they have yet to earn any of those big bucks and may never get another shot and be compensated like shite and not even be able to afford the medical bills.
But as I said before, it'll only be a small factor with most players and we'd only lose a player here or there over it.
