Aside from being stabbed by drug smugglers of course.

Just got notified that they're transferring me out there for a couple of months, and have honestly never even heard of the town. Anyone been here or know anything about it?

Thanks. I'll need them. Can't say I'm all that thrilled about this assignment.

Think I'll pass going to a place where all the stereotypes of Mexico are true.

You could make the drive to Boys Town if you're brave enough nowadays.

It's not that bad. The cartels won't mess with house long as you don't bother them

I've been there and you are going to hate life. There is literally nothing there. Like others said south padre is close but that's not great either.

The fact that you have to say "it's not that bad" means its that bad. Plus no one has told me to do something I couldn't do in any other city in America.

I can guarantee you can't meet anonymous posters from a message board and get drunk while discussing GoT.
