Why does it cost so much to fly now?

Looking to get away before I start a new job in 2 weeks. $400 round trip to any of the major Florida airports? Ridiculous.

You're a moron. Europe is a lot further than Florida. If say $1500 is a lot more miles for your buck than $400 to FL. I just got the offer. Not like I could plan ahead of time. GFY.

I've been paying 800+ to fly to Lubbock. Flights have gotten very expensive lately.

The biggest mystery is when I fly somewhere, half of the people on the plane look like they'd have to roll pennies for a tank of gas...much less spending $600 on a flight.
