There are industrial specific rental companies that might like something that large. I would love a quiet standby, but 80KW is huge.

Nobody is gonna buy a used 80kW just for hurricane season. Do you have any idea how big that is? It's not something you just grab and hook up to your mini fridge

OP, you could try CL, or try and find an equipment auction place around you. There was a forum dedicated to repairing used generators and shite, but I can't remember the name. If you find it, someone there will probably buy

You'd have to find someone just starting new construction and put the ol salesman skills to work.

I'll try to locate the forum. I've never done Craigslist and always hear horror stories. Does stuff really move on there?

You can definitely move shite on craigslist, just be careful what info you post and how you go about doing it to avoid the scammers.

Yep.

I'd try rental companies first though.

Interesting. I'll check out craigslist. I bought it from a rental company I don't think they will buy it back. I just needed it for a couple projects and now it's just sitting in my warehouse.
