I get pulled over for speeding. It's a pretty dark area and the flashing lights are pretty damn bright. My daughter is prone to seizures so my wife immediately reaches back and is attempting to cover her eyes. I remain in the vehicle, because I don't want to get shot. The cowboy sees my wife reaching back and he runs up and starts yelling hands on the fricking dash. I'm trying to explain the situation and he's having none of it. Long story short my daughter starts having a seizure. We both jump to the back. He jumps back and draws his weapon as he's calling for back up.
Back up arrives and finally an ambulance. I'm glad she's ok and we didn't take a few slugs. Protect and Serve cowboys

I'd be pissed but can understand why the cop reacted that way.

That's a pretty all around crappy situation.

Probably the same way you did in the moment, but after the dust settles I would raise hell with the city/PD

I mean, can you really blame the guy? He doesn't know you're a family with a seizure prone daughter. It's a shitty situation no doubt though.

Funny, I think that's what they say when the police shoot and kill innocent people.
