I live in Southdowns and my house is off the ground. I have heard him scratching and making a weird sound from 12 am to 630 am then it stops.

Who would the right person to call to handle this? I know he came up from under the house

How high is the home off the ground? What room is he in? Might be easiest to drill a hole from the bottom to allow escape if there is room...

Now you need a cat or rat terrier in your wall.

No, no, no.

First you go snake, then cat, then terrier.

If it's a squirrel it's probably not trapped, it's just setting up shop. I had them in my attic a couple years ago, and I closed up their entry when I thought they were gone. Those frickers will chew a hole through ANYTHING to get out. That whole squirrel saga was pretty fun in retrospect - I was worse than Bill Murray in Caddyshack, and those squirrels are smart little frickers.

Well he is only going to have 16" of width in the wall to move... Decide if it is cheaper to bust drywall, repair and paint or drill from the bottom through the bottom plate of the wall...

I don't feel like messing with that crap. Would a pest control service company be able to assess the situation and possibly remove it today? Or busting out a hole in the wall my only solution?

I had the same problem with cats. Trapped them all and relocated them to the dark side of town. Try a trap

Flying squirrels...

If, on the other hand, you are hearing noises during nighttime hours, you most likely have a raccoon or flying squirrel living in your attic. Raccoons and flying squirrels are nocturnal animals, meaning they are usually only active at night.

I had 'em once, found out where they were getting in, patched hole in soffitt...peanutbutter in mouse traps got rid of them....

Last week I finally decided to sell the old junker boat I had sitting in the yard.

I cleaned all the leaves and crap out of it. I found what I thought was a squirrel nest in the rod locker area. I just pulled it out. Two days later a guy came to get it. He opened the rod locker and found this.

Imagine his surprise.
