Oh it was good. This board wasn't quite as meltastic as one might have expected, though. Especially after their prophet rode off into the sunset as soon as the first exit polls closed on the East Coast.
Serious question: Has JC returned in the 18 months since that night? Any reasonable alter candidates? That was a funny night for a political watcher.

The last time I saw him on TV he was guest on O'Reilly and Bill was treating him like shite... and he was just taking it. If Bill talked like that to Meaghan Kelly she'd stand up and beat the crap out of him.

Nah. Pretty much 100% sure it was the election. Fox actually promulgated a memo to its producers specifically directing that Morris and Rove get the stiff-arm for a while. I think Rove is still making his way back. Morris has been pretty muted. A lot of reputations took a beating over that one.

He came back. Said he wasn't interested in the poli board anymore because it's so divided.

Don't know how I missed that. I looked for him for a while. I used to pretty routinely go back to the threads in the days surrounding the election.
Just saw that he returned in the last days of my break from the board. Wish I had tuned in for that thread.
