Beyond Meat brand products

Last week at Whole Foods I saw some of the Beyond Meat brand chicken on their food bar. Beyond Meat is a new soy free fake meat company with a lot of high profile investors like Bill Gates. It is made from pea proteins. The manufacturing process uses like, science and stuff. I did not get any of the chicken, but I did look at it and it does look like chicken. I did pick up a bag of their beef crumbles. Last night I made tacos with the crumbles. The first time trying a new food product like this is weird, but it wasn't bad. Pretty much tasted the same as brutally slaughtered and irresponsibly manufactured cow meat. Slightly chalky, however, but would try again. Lentils are a much tastier meat and better substitute imo.
