The guy could be a good player don't get me wrong, but a weak arse conference with a decent team around him makes him a superstar? Really? No way this guy puts up the numbers or stats in the SEC that he did in the AAC. I just don't see him being worth a top 5 pick...

Body and arm strength are the first two that jump out i think. I'm not sold on guys that pop up in one year like this.

He is now projected to be picked around 20, so the love for him isn't like it was 2 months ago.

Because there is no one else. This is arguably one of the weakest QB classes in history top to bottom.

Same could be said for Mack, or any small conference players that put up legit numbers.

FWIW he did very well against Penn State and South Carolina.

Theres actually a lot more QBs with draftable grades than usual. So its quite deep. Theres just no stand out cant miss prospect

Last year was wayyy less deep and even less talent at the top of the draft

I like Bortles though.

I dont think anyone really loves Bortles.... people just like him over Bridgewater, who played in the exact same conference as Bortles did. And hes not going top 5.

I agree with BB, i think hes a poor mans Big Ben.

And, this QB crop isnt top heavy with stars, but there are a lot of quality QB prospects you can get. What separates the top 3 QB with guys like Boyd, Murray, Mett, McCarron, Shaw, etc? I cant really tell.

Yea it doesn't matter where you went to college in the NFL, if you can play you can play

Just look at Romo/Flacco/Ben/Fitzpatrick etc who were all small school guys who are NFL starters

I mean 2 of the big 4 are from the B1G and we all know how awful that conference is
