And I'm not really sure which one I am. All I know is that democrats like same sex marriage and abortion and republicans hate both.

The only people who talk this way are apathetic idiots who want an excuse not to vote, and tea party members who want to bash the GOP.

Neither are my favorite people.

They both spend money like drunken sailors but they completely disagree on what to spend it on.

If you're gay, you're a democrat.

Dems support Authoritarian Statist mechanisms for societal problems.

Republicans (establishment version), are Statist Light.

Conservatives - Tea Party version - support and believe that Constitutional Freedom not only "promote the general welfare", but averts many of the problems that Statism creates.

BTW, Capitalism/Free Market economy is problematic. Economic freedom is not better or worse than the person or group that employs it. Just like a gun; or any power.

Good luck in figuring out who you are.

Sure.

Democrats

1) Oppress the Middle Class.
2) Give stuff away to the poor and don't hold groups in this class accountable.
3) Give stuff away/create leveraged system for the wealthy and don't hold group in this class accountable.

Republicans

1) Oppress the Middle Class
2) Say you won't give stuff away to the poor and will hold groups in this class accountable in order to ensure the oppressed Middle Class votes for you.
3) Give stuff away/create leveraged system for the wealthy and don't hold group in this class accountable.

Democrats make decisions based on emotion.
Republicans make decisions based on logic.

The difference is that the Repubes believe they can run a big gov't more efficiently than the Dems...

Sheesh. Nobody oppresses the middle class.

The middle class in this country has a higher standard of living than any segment in world history. Are some of them overtaxed? Certainly. Some are undertaxed. Some do jack shite to improve their lot in life.

Conservatives need to take our own advice on this and stop blaming someone else for all of our problems. Admittedly government is somewhat out of control, but some liberal senator from another state has nothing to do with your spending habits and rising consumer debt levels.

The main goals of the Republican party:

1) Defend the wealthy
2) Defend bigotry
3) Shame the poor and weak

20 years ago I might have added "Turn everyone Christian" but thankfully the Republicans now seem to be split on the issue of whether or not to their ram religion down our throats.

Republican and Democrat idealologies are for weak minded individuals who either lack the intelligence or desire to view each issue in a separate and pragmatic manner. They instead elect for the comfort of their idealistic echo chamber and relish in every opportunity to participate in which ever circle jerk is being pushed on FOX news/MSNBC. It's the reason we have the current political climate that we do.

Sure, if by "bigotry" you mean all those blacks that are oppressing the poor white majority.

Pretty damn accurate.

It's oddly amusing to see that Democrats and Republicans don't see their leaders doing this. Just the "other" side.
