Just picked up a gig in Lafayette this weekend. Haven't been there in over 20 years. Will be there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Need some good restaurant recommendations. TIA

Don's Seafood Hut on Johnston St. if you like crawfish and seafood. Crawfish bisque is excellent.

Probably not a popular choice, but I could eat my weight in Zoe's.

after a year i finally found the holy grail of seafood buffets. Lagneaux on Ridge Road. $23 seafood buffet. Had some of the largest crawfish i've ever seen. boiled crabs, fried froglegs, shrimps, etc. opens at 5. i had a seafood platter from Don's once, never again. garbage hardly no food and not cheap.

Just curious -- what other seafood buffets are you comparing it to? House of Seafood? White's? Lafleur's? I've heard mixed reviews of Lagneaux's buffet in the past.

Good Choice. Stop one block before you get there - on the right - Oteece Richard's meat market and get you 3 or 4 fried boudin balls as an appetizer.
