Weekly Weekend Fishing Report?

Where ya heading this weekend? Bought a guided trip,(2) boats, one for my wife and I for 1st anniversary and one for my parents Mothers/Fathers Day gift outta Dularge. Hoping to gain alil knowledge of the area and patterns. Will post pics of fish if we catch.... Will NOT post pics of wife or mom... you sick bastards! Good luck this weekend fellas!

Bourg, seen they have a high pressure down there right now and its pretty windy today... you think that will affect anything for sat? I know the wind is supposed to be at 6-7mph, hoping the water will clear up by then.

I can tell yall that as of yesterday the guides have been struggling to find good numbers of trout. The brown shrimp still havent showed up and the trout still aren't on the reefs.

Headed to the camp in Pigeon in the morning. Not sure how long I'm staying. Fishing Grand River tomorrow and can't decide on spillway or veret on Saturday

Ima hit Jazz fest show Friday night, then mosey on to Dulac to boil some crawfish and fish Sunday. concerned about possible muddy water, but forecast and tides look right and it should be a lovely day on the water to burn gas.

Call spicers for live shrimp. Don't know if they have any yet.
If you are on the west side (hackberry) stop at Holly Beach seafood before the lake and get some frozen bait shrimp.
The lake has been semi slow. But tides and moon should help out theis weekend and hope the wind isn't too bad

I called Spicer's yesterday and they said they are hoping to have some. I guess that means their guy is going try. I'll call Calcasieu Point later, as they get their shrimp from the same guy as Spicer's.
