Run your pan under warm water and scrub. Cooked on residue will release quickly and easily with the CM Scrubber. No need to use detergents. The best time to clean cast iron pans is shortly after cooking when they are just warm to the touch.

What's your opinion on this? Think it works? Think it will mark up a cast iron pot?

Well I often use 10 and 20 gallon rigs, if something makes cleanup a little easier I'd spend 20 bucks

Is anyone getting this? I'd trust a review here before I'd trust their video/reviews.

I got one as a christmas present along with a new cast iron. I haven't used the scrub yet though

I'll use it tomorrow for sure.

I've never had issues getting my cast iron clean with just a normal dish sponge and hot water. Sometimes I'll scrape with a spatula.

Salt and paper towels work for me. Don't think I'd get it

Why would you get that all you need is kosher salt and a scour pad

I haven't used this, because to tell you the truth, I don't use cast iron. I know it cooks great, but I just can't seem to keep cast iron seasoned right. Sometimes it even rusts on me.

That's why I posted this, to see if you guys think this would help.

If it takes it off a lot easier I'd consider it. Sometimes something can be on there pretty good and the scouring pad messes up the seasoning.

I'm not saying I'm dying to have this product or anything, but I'd consider it.

I'd consider it as well, if cleaned properly it should last a lot longer than any scouring pads.

If everyone has all this trouble cleaning a cast iron pot/skillet I'll give my best tip.

Turn the fricking heat down and quit burning your food.

Your welcome.

Stainless steel wool pads(no soap models) will clean a cast iron pot with no harm done to them.

If I get a pot really dirty, I'll just simmer some water for a while and it softens all that shite up
