Supposed to be one in Yazoo City. Not sure if it's still going on or not though

One of my oldest and best friends lives in Tupelo. They are getting hit bad right now. Looked like the tornado was very close to his house. His wife and 3 kids were home.

Man, I live in southeast Bama and I've been looking into building/buying a storm shelter. Being from southeastern LA, I've had to worry about Hurricanes and flooding but not really tornadoes....I know they have and still do occur in South LA but not as much as here in Alabama.

I would go ahead and build one. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Yeah, you're right about that. They are pretty expensive to build though.

You got kids? I might chance it if I was single with no family. Maybe just find a friend with one. But if I had a family then I would make saving money for one a priority. Couldn't live with myself if I bought a new boat/truck instead of a storm shelter and a family member later died in a tornado.

Dang, way to make a man feel guilty, huh bro? But, you're right...no new toys here lately besides guns but I'm aggressively searching for tornado/survival shelters...and I have the land to do it...
