This guy has been one of my favorites for years. His new special on Comedy Central last night delivered. Nothing as catch phrase as "hot pocket" but still some very funny stuff. As always he's funniest when talking about food. For those who missed it, search for it and record. It'll probably be on at another 7 or 8 times this week.

dangit, I didnt know he had a new special out

I saw him here in DC in January and it was hilarious, I imagine the material is probably the same as the new special

He is one of my favorites but last night wasn't great. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Last night was hilarious. I don't openly laugh out loud watching TV and movies, but I was losing it. It was funny as hell.

It is not easy to be as clean as he is and still be very funny. I like to listen to comics when traveling with the wife and we always throw him in the mix and even if you put him up against some pretty dirty comics who have that advantage, his stuff still stands up. And it's very clever the way he talks out loud as if he's the room's conscious speaking, sort of knocks out the hecklers, because, well, he heckles himself. Brilliant.

i love bill burr and louis ck, but I do appreciate gaffigan's ability to go through a whole set with little to no profanity

Yeah he's incredible. Cursing doesn't bother me but some comedians curse so much it distracts from the comedy. Actually the ones who curse a lot aren't usually that funny. Like Andrew Dice Clay.

That's my favorite part of his routines.

shite i missed it. hope it comes on again. i haven't even had time to watch attel's new one yet.

in an interview they once asked him who the "interjecting voice" is in his act and he said his it's probably his sister disapproving of most of his jokes.

he really is at his best talking about food. mcdonald's, hot pockets, veganism, etc.

so relatable. i guess that's why it works.

Apologies for not posting before. I forgot to watch the 9 PM one and remembered right before the 11 PM one came on. I was just going to record and head to bed, but then I thought, I'll watch til the first commercial. Before I knew it I'd watched the entire thing.

Yeah, the voice he does is hilarious. Love it. He got away from it a bit last night, but still used it at times. If I find out when it's coming on again then I'll post.

I honestly don't find Gaffigan very funny, if you guys are saying his new stand up is hilarious, I'll give it a shot.

It's the same as his old stuff, which I love. If you don't like his old stuff then this probably won't do it for you.

So it was good? Big fan of Gaffigan. I have Mr. Universe on iTunes. Of course the bits that stick out to me the most from that performance include food: McDonald's, and destroying of Subway and the Dominos Pasta Bread Bowl.

Quite funny.

I like to listen to the Today's Comedy station on Pandora and they play a lot of Gaffigan.
