So I saw Blue is the Warmest Color on Netflix and decided to check it out. Admittedly I was checking it out b/c i'd heard about the not so simulated lesbian sex scenes, but I figured it would still be a decent movie based on the rave reviews it got like everywhere. WTF? This movie was the most boring pile of steaming crap I've ever seen. Sure the sex scenes were pretty wild compared to American standards but both actresses were hideously ugly. Apparently bad teeth is not just an English thing either.

But beyond the sex, nothing really happened. How did this win any awards?

Anything gay wins an award, because being gay is apparently courageous.

It could have been shorter but I still thought it was a good movie. It was more about the relationship than just sensationalizing all the hardcore lesbian sex like an American movie would do.

I guess but it was sooo boring. It was way too long and aside from the sex scenes it was like watching paint dry. Just dont get the love.

As usual, the comic book was better.

(Except for the twenty minute lesbian porn montages.)

I thought it was really good. The lead actress was great. I really felt bad for her during that scene in the school yard.
