I don't know how accurate the article is. I know we ran some zone blocking in 09. From what I've read, in the beginning of last year we were trying to run a lot of outside zone runs, and as the year progressed, we switched to more inside zone running.

We tried to go mostly zone blocking early on last year and it was a complete disaster for many reasons. Then when we started going back to a more traditional power running game with some zone blocking sprinkled in is when we started clicking(along with some of those other reasons clearing up).
I could see us mixing it up more this year, but I don't see us going full on zone.

They probably tried to integrate too much of it last year. I don't think power man running is going away, but they'll continue to run some inside zone runs.
