After testing actors over the past couple of weeks, Warner Bros. and DC have tapped theater actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the untitled Batman-Superman pic.

Can they just get around to calling it Justice League already?

This is going to be awesome to watch for all the wrong reasons

This is turning into a hot mess.

I've been fighting the rational side of my brain thats been screaming this at me but this news pretty much seals the deal.
Just call it Justice League and the hate will soften.
Man of Steel deserved its own sequel.

Man Of Steel definitely deserved it's own sequel and maybe one day we'll get it who knows (my guess probably not).
I'm still on the fence about this as I liked MoS, but this could be too much at once. I guess it all depends on the use of these Justice League characters. Are they going to be significant characters or is say Ray Fisher just going to be in the movie as Victor Stone before eventually becoming Cyborg at the end or in a later movie.

Go back to the "Challenge of the Superfriends" cartoon. We have plenty of swampland for the Hall of Doom set.

At this point, my expectations are almost lower than if I went to a re-release of Phantom Menace with JarJar deleted scenes added in.
That could be a good thing I guess..

If Snides wasn't directing this I'd have much more confidence in this film's success.

Why in the hell can't they just follow the script that Marvel has proved is successful and give all of the character's their own individual movies and build to a true Justice League movie? Why in the hell do they feel the need to rush into it like they appear to be doing?

Apparently they want to follow Marvel's model in reverse. Introduce everyone in the Justice League movie and then wait and see which characters audiences like most to determine who gets their own movies. I think its safe to say Wonder Woman will get her own movie one day, and of course Superman and Batman, but the rest we'll have to wait and see.

Marvel is butt raping DC in movies right now, but the GOAT movie still belongs to DC

This is going to a complete abortion of a movie.
It should've been MoS 2 ----> New Batman movie ----> World's Finest ----> MoS 3 ----> Batman 2 ----> Other Heroes Movies ----> Justice League

Wurd.
Shaq Steel was the only DC character that WB got 100% right.

I think that's a bad way to do it obviously. If WW would get her own movie the rest of the crew better being doing fantastic for a lead woman to get a great following.

Not with the shitty Wonder Woman selection.

Seriously. May as well add the Flash and Green Lantern to it.
This movie is going to suck.
