I have a very good job working 7:00-3:30 Monday through Friday. Is it practical for me to go to school at night and get my business degree? I'm not even sure what I will do with it, but I'm thinking since my company will pay for it I should do it. What do u guys think?

That's what I'm thinking.. I guess I'm just scared because I am 32 years old and the idea of college is a bit overwhelming.

What line of work are you in? When you say business degree are you talking about an MBA or your bachelors?

you can do evenings, or you could try online courses.

the latter work for self-motivated and self-disciplined students who can manage a schedule (and usually, adult working students can do this).

Don't sweat it. I'm 34 and am working on my Masters at night. You'll find that you're a much better student now than you ever were when you were younger.

It's not easy. Real life gets in the way sometimes, but I find it fulfilling.

Well if it were as simple as picking I would want my MBA; however, I'm thinking my first goal will be my bachelors.

I am 30 and in my second semester of mechanical engineering. It sucks arse and is a huge 180 from regular life. If you take it slow, you shouldn't have a problem since business isn't hard at all

My favorite part about it is having 5 tests in a 3 day span

I am going to business school at night and work full time. It definitely added stress to my life but not a huge amount. It's a great experience to break out of your intellectual norms, learn new things, and meet new people.

I'm paying out of pocket for the privilege which accounts for a lot of the added stress. If your company is paying for it, do it. Don't do it online either, go to a brick and mortar school. You will thank yourself later.
