Clarence Thomas has been catching flak since he was made a supreme court justice. I think you guys forget he was nominated to replace Thurgood Marshall.

The most important member of the Supreme Court in this case is Stephen Bryer. He provided the same sort of cover for the conservative wing of the Court as John Roberts did for the liberal wing when the Court upheld Obamacare.
