Yes on Dragon Age, haven't read too much about Lords of the Fallen.

BioWare appears to have learned a lesson regarding Dragon Age 2 - everything I've read indicates that the game is heading in the right direction.

Same here, Dragon Age seems a no brainer.

IGN will have more info on Lords of the Fallen today, so I may wait for that and I haven't watched their gameplay video on there either

You have got to be kidding.

As much shite as you give me over DA2?

Hypocrite.

I'm also leaning towards getting Dragon Age , just wasn't sure about Lords fo the Fallen. I just watched the Lords of the Fallen Gameplay video that IGN just posted to facebook. Looks good should be an interesting game.

I will almost definitely be getting Dragon Age, but only after the initial reviews are out. I'm still a bit gun shy after DA2, but everything that has come out about Inquisition looks extremely promising.

Unless it has top down iso view and pause to command, not playing.

These are the games I bought my PS4 for, not those pansy-arse CoD or BF games.

The games where story matters. I'll be picking up DA3. I hope it's decently difficult and they have a character as cool as Morrigan from DA:O.

Not a teammate from what I read.

I could be wrong though.

You didn't specify it had to be a squad member

But yeah, the story looks intriguing.

Technicalities, screwyoualities.

I have really high hopes for this game. Hopefully it and Witcher 3 deliver.

So many good games that aren't coming out soon enough.

Except it looks nothing like how DA:O's combat was done in the top down/isometric view. Look I don't need innovation at every iteration of a game.

I thought DA:O was a perfect game. I would have just liked a continued story. I think they realized that with Awakening they could get away with less and people would be happy so they transistioned that same thought and game design to DA2 for a vastly inferior product.

Now it looks like Kingdoms of Amalur.

That seems to be Bioware's MO when it comes to the second game of series. They did it with Mass Effect 2 as well (though vastly different results, as ME2 was still solid even though vastly scaled down and DA 2 sucked big time).

Still, I'll be eagerly awaiting DA 3, hopefully it will be good.

It's been a while since I played Origins, but Inquisition's tactical view/mode looks a more sophisticated in my opinion.

Origins was great, but while the combat was tactically great it wasn't the most responsive thing in the world. DA2's combat was much more responsive, but not nearly as tactical. It seems DAI may be combining the best of both games. Time will tell if they get it right or not.

The below link has a snippet of the tactical/isometric view. The demo-er keeps going back to the over the shoulder view, probably to show off the pretty, but it looks like you can just stay in tactical/isometric view if you want.
