The re-signing of 29-year-old Robert Meachem doesn't mean much at this point. The Saints still need an explosive playmaker to add to their receiving corps, and Cooks can fit that mold. Leading up to this point, I've pegged the the Saints to take a cornerback. But it makes sense to grab one of the top wide receivers here and add to their cornerback depth in a later round. And with Fuller off the board here, Cooks would be steal for the Saints at No. 27. The 5-foot-10, 189 pound Cooks is extremely fast, clocking a 4.33 40-yard dash to lead all receivers at the NFL Combine. In the last two seasons, he had 195 receptions and 21 touchdowns. He has good hands and the ability to make the big play.Cooks' weakness is his blocking ability, in addition to some concerns about his height, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him still available in the latter half of the first round.
28. Carolina - Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
29. New England - Louis Nix, NT, Notre Dame
30. San Francisco - Jason Verrett, CB, TCU
31. Denver - Zavier Su'A-Filo, OG, UCLA
32. Seattle - Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota

It took a woman to make a decent mock draft. I kind of disagree with Jacksonville passing on a QB in the first, though.

Mack vs Bortles will be a tough call but i can definitely see Jax going Mack.

I'd love Cooks, but I don't see him being there at 27. Hope I'm wrong though.

Love Blues but his last mock was just not what I see happening at all.

blues' actual opinion has proved to be very fruitless through the years. He's smart but book smart, not very common sense street smart.

Like Zach Mettenberger.

This seems like wishful thinking on her part.

Has it been mentioned how street smart I am? I think it's important that people know that.

Cooks, Beckham or Lee will be there for us. Just depends on how the early 20s picks see these three guys.
Also, no way in hell Philly doesn't go WR in the first

I think if a "surefire" top 10 player, Gilbert/Dennard, Mosley, and 2 of OBJ/Lee/Cooks are taken by 22-23, we're moving up to grab the last of the 3.
Reasoning is plain fear of Carolina also jumping up to grab one.

I disagree with jumping up for any reason.
