Going to the Joint today for the first time. What are some can't miss cuts and sides?

Thanks in advance.

Ribs and chicken are great. I also like the smoked tomato dressing that they use with the salad.

Pulled pork and ribs for me. Last time I went I think I got mac and cheese and potato salad for my side. Pretty standard.

People seem to love the brisket too.

You have to get the beans as a side. I like their side salad, but usually stick to potato salad or mac and cheese as my second side.

I like to get the W combo, which is pretty much everything on a plate with two sides.

two or three meat combo - pulled pork & brisket

GET THE MAC & CHEESE

Cole Slaw is very earthy so I would get potato salad instead.

I've never been wowed by the Mac n cheese. Each time I've tried it's been bland and somewhat dry. Maybe I just had it on a bad day? Everything else I've enjoyed very much

its nothing incredible I agree but one time I didn't choose it as one of my sides.

I regretted it badly!

Is it safe to assume they do takeout? Might grab some on the way to work tonight.

Call ahead or can they put it together pretty quick?

Depends on how crowded. I've gotten takeout a few times there, and never called ahead. No more than 5 min wait typically. Order from bar and have a quick, cold one.

I don't think my employer would like that, but I don't think they should be too busy around 3:30.

Thanks for the info.

Went today for the first time. Decided on The "W" Special, brisket, pulled pork and ribs.

All were really good, great seasonings on the ribs. The three different sauces were really distinct and the only downside was that I didn't have enough meat to truly give it the side by side sampling they deserved.

Went with Mac and cheese as well as potato salad for sides. Potato salad wasn't my style, I like simple PS without all the onions and such. Mac and cheese was pretty damn good.

Will be back for sure.
