What happened?

Did it go away?

What medications are used?

I knew 2 people who got it. Their face went limp, and it went away after a couple weeks. No medicines were used.

Jim Ross has it.

I have a co-worker that had a flare up for a couple of months. It was pretty difficult for him to eat and drink at first, and it slurred his speech, but it did clear up. I don't know what kinds of medication he was on.

I thought he managed it pretty well.

Yup, I worked with a guy who ate the frick out of whatever pills he could get his hands on. Then, randomly at work, his face went full retard. Yes, it went away after he went to the hospital.

My little brother had it for about a month when he was a kid. Half of his face was paralyzed. No meds, no cause. Just came and went. Can happen to anyone, I believe. It could last a day or forever.

Coworker had it recently. We thought she was having a stroke. But she is fine. Speech was slurred, side of face was numb/limp but she was fine. I'm not sure about any medications but after a couple of days it was considerably less noticeable. Cleared up after a couple of weeks.

My uncle was diagnosed with it recently. He can't move the left side of his face. Unfortunately, they can't tell him when it will go away.

A friend of my sister's had it for nearly a year.

Dad had it for almost a year. Sucked. We were concerned it was a stroke. Went away for the most part. Can kind of notice when he smiles though

I guess some people it doesn't go away? Seems like JR has had it for awhile. I used to know a lady when I was younger that had it and I don't think it ever went away for her either.

A good friend of mine had it. Lasted about two weeks. She dealt with it holistically with reflexology and it was much improved and has been gone for years and not manifested again.

had it when I was about 4 or 5. It went away, but my smile is still asymmetrical because of it.

My cousin had it while going through a divorce. Dr told him it was due to stress. Lasted a couple of months, went away without meds.

I had it twice - both sides of the face. Approx 2 weeks with both cases - meds dont help - they did give me steroids early to hopefully slow it down.

I hate to tell you, but it just takes time.

Had it before my Gillian Barre Syndrome.

Gave me steroids…but elevated my BP too high. Then they realized I had the syndrome.

Took me wee/half for the drooping to go away. Eye gushed, left side of face drooped, could not open mouth to eat.
