I have never understood why people want to plug speakers into their iPhone.
The music file that audio is written to is very poor for adequate amplification. It just sounds like tinny fuzz.

Wait, so what do we listen to music with on the go?
Spotify playing through my Bose wireless speaker via bluetooth sounds just fine to me.

So what do you suggest everyone carry around with them in their pocket?

Go with this Bose, it will not disappoint. My daughter has the beats pill & it's ok, but the Bose sound quality is unbeatable and at the same price point go Bose. U can compare the two at best buy or target.

I bought my bride a UE Boom (Logitech) and am very pleased with its sound and battery life. It has a pretty cool feature if you add an additional one it will play in stereo (to both at the same time)if you load the app.

I use the JBL Charge. 12 hrs of battery life, rechargable, and great sound quality
A little pricey, but well worth it IMO

Jambox or Big Jambox have tremendous battery life. I like them a lot, but there are other brands that make just as solid a product.
