Do you take pride in your work?

Do you compete and strive to do the best job you can. Or do you just try to get by?
I have done both at different times.

hell no! I just try and make it to 5 oclock every day. Most the time i sit in the office on the net trying to pass time. I even screen my phone calls and only answer when its really important.

Absolutely! I love what I do, and I pride myself on growing the best produce around. This field is not for those who are simply looking to get by, you have to have the want to do well.

It's the reason I'm the only person going to have a job come next semester at my work place.

It depends on what you consider my work. I have a job that I do to make my money for my family. I hate every single minute of it because it takes me away from them and various other reasons. I take no pride in my job, but do it to the best of my ability so I can continue to make money. My kids are my true work and my greatest pride.

I didn't realize this thread was limited to comments on professional work. I think you should work hard regardless of your stage in life.
