Robin Trower!

Played that on air as a DJ.

On a tour of Venice, I saw the actual Bridge of Sighs.

Really enjoyed his work with Procol Harum - Whiskey Train, Simple Sister.

Trower also got labeled a Hendrix clone and I never got that, different sound and style.
And what a band, one of the best three pieces ever!

The dude can still bring the heat. Saw him in concert two years ago and he blew me away with his playing. A master on blues guitar.

I knew I'd find you in this thread. Yes he still brings it. Hopefully he'll keep doing so until I get a chance to see him live.

The song Bridge of Sighs was one of those that I kept hearing on the radio but for a long time never heard the DJ announce who it was. Finally when I found out who it was I bought the album and my life was changed forever.

Sounds like a good excuse to put on Day Of The Eagle!

For those of you who read music, here's the song book for Bridge of Sighs, posted on Trower's website.

BTW, if you haven't heard anything of his recent work, I recommend you give a listen to his latest, Roots & Branches. It's got some old filler covers -- Hound Dog, Thrill Is Gone, Little Red Rooster -- but the real gems are his original compositions. I'd put Shape of Things to Come and See My Life up there with anything he's ever done.

FYI, he's planning a U.S. tour at the end of the year. Dates and cities not announced yet. Check trowerpower.com for updates.

That's good to know but honestly you can get much more accurate music & tabs here.
