If you don't know his work, I highly suggest checking him out. This is a rare appearance in the south and i would recommend going to see him anywhere he is playing, but it so happens M+W gets to host this incredible talent.

yes, this will be the feather in M+Ws proverbial cap... at least up until this point, in it's relatively short life span (hon. mention to Titus Andronicus)

Yup. Do you know if he's touring with a band?

one chair. one mic. one incredible night.

Cheesy punchline if i was cheesy. I'm that giddy about tomorrow plus it's the first show i have seen at M+W since the Ramblers in mid November.

Would love to see him play. Wish this show would have been last week.

Saw him play solo at a park near my house 3 or 4 years ago. He seemed very shy, but is still an incredible talent.

It was great.. could have stood for a few less obnoxious assholes talking loudly over his set and maybe him going back a little further into his catalog... but he delivered.. Such a talented dude..

he played mostly off the new record, which i really like. I can see where long time fans might be disappointed in not hearing some deeper cuts, but he was fantastic.

I had to go up to somebody ask them to keep it down, which was a first for me. they seemed genuinely sorry.

very proud we were able to land him and i hope to have him back again.
