I get that he's extremely unlikely to get close to 40 ypc if he gets 67 catches, but I think it would still be closer to 1,200 yards at about 18 ypc.

More realistically he probably gets about 30 catches for 550 ypc if he gets back to around the same form. He was a (very good)one trick pony but only had 10 catches. If he starts doing it again teams are going to double him more and play for the deep ball, limiting his total opportunities.

Now if Stills keeps playing well on the deep ball and/or we draft a rookie that plays well on the deep ball maybe that changes because you can't double everyone.

67 rec seems high. I don't think he will be a focal point of the offense, just used to keep defenses honest.

34 receptions
578 yards
5 tds

If he's healthy, something like 25 rec for 450 (18ypc).

I've been thinking this too.

33 catches, 577 yards, 4 TDs

I think he deserves a shot at being our return specialist

ETA: I also think he's going to have to prove a lot to just make the team, especially if we draft a couple of wide receivers.

Morgan has a good pre season but can't even make the team and is traded before 1st game due to the Saints being so STACKED at the WR position via a most awesome draft.

So it seems most see about 25-35 catches for 450-600 yards (about 18-20 ypc).

Well we also don't know if the Saints draft a deep threat WR yet. If we can get a OBJ/Cooks/Lee/Lattimore then Morgans role may be diminished.

I have no expectations for him. He has potential, but he hasn't really shown much more than that so far. To give a wide range, maybe 300-600 yards.

Something like this would be incredible for him. I'm not willing to put that much hope in him.

ETA: It's not really anything more than a gut feeling, but I get the feel of a preseason warrior from him. He might never be able to put it completely together when it matters.

200 hits. .320 BA. .990 Fielding and 22 HRS. Pretty good for a guy who started for the Astros in the 70's ? And later became a HOF'er for the Reds and is probably well over 65.

He has already put it together when it matters. He has regular season starts and catches. Definitely not just another AA.

Now whether he puts up more catches with a full season of games is another story.
