My wife loved it but it was just ok to me. Not funny enough for a comedy, not serious enough to be drama.

Thought it was terrible, but I hold a grudge against Jenji Kohan for gradually turning Weeds into shite.

I liked it quite a bit. It does follow the Weeds formula of being about a pretty white woman who is actually quite a horrible human being. The supporting cast is very strong and I like the stories around a lot of those women. And it does a good job of showing that you kind of have to be a messed up guy to work in a women's prison.

I'll defend Piper. She gets a bad rap for being horrible when really, her ledger is in the positive. I love Red, but she is evil.

Yeah, she's the reason I stuck it out. I'm glad her character gained momentum as the series went on.
