(1) How would the country be different now;
(2) How would the world be different;
(3) Would Obama even be president; and
(4) What would W's legacy be as a president?

We'd have a few thousand more citizens

Don't think it would be much different

(3) Would Obama even be president;

Doubtful

Slightly better

But there is an issue with

Its not like he unilaterally did this... Congress voted to go to war and that included prominent Dems who are still in DC

My brother wouldn't have PTSD and my work load would be lighter.

The Rothschild wouldn't own the northern Iraq oil and gas fields and these pipeline wars would consist of different players.

Congress did not vote to go to war. The last time that happened was World War Two.

I thought Sadamn Hussein started the war,
attacking Kuwait and crossing the borders with his army.

I am glad you noted this because it is usually unsaid.

There was no official declaration of war, but they did in fact vote to authorize military action in Iraq.

I don't think the number of idealistic/progressive/liberal/we hate our own country cause we're imperialistic type millennials would be nearly as high.

It was Clinton who instituted the policy of "regime change" for Iraq.

DEM's were disconsolate that 9/11 didn't happen on his watch so that HE could become the 'war president.'

The entire congress was overwhelmingly insistent on, or at least in total agreement with, the decision to remove Saddam Hussein.

What you are asking, DD...is that if Saddam had remained in power...WHAT would HE/his sons have done to affect the World, in regard to our own interests?

Both us and the whole World will be asking the same question re Obama/Holder...in the not too distant future. The Obama policy/effects have mostly been suppressed/postponed; they are just beginning to be realized. Not like war...but with the potential to be far worse when it all hits at once.

The Arab Spring may have taken down Hussein anyways.

The question should be:

If Bush had "finished" the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq...

Both were masterful military successes. However, it was the "nation building" that caused all the problems (here and at home).

Come the frick on... quit being a hack.

They authorized military action. You are trying to play the semantics game in order to protect your ilk.

Btw, did Obama get an authorization for his military interventions?
