How *bleeped* up is this Minnesota State HC story?

Anyone been following this story over the last few years and last few days? You can't make this stuff up.
Summary: Minnesota State-Mankato head coach has pics/videos of his kids playing in the bath and partially clothed on his school issued smartphone. Employee sees/finds the pictures, called police, coach is arrested and charged with felony child pornography. Judge dismissed the charges 3 months later in August 2012, but the school still reassigned him to an admin role December 2012, and fired him last May.
Coach takes a HC job elsewhere, and last week the arbitrator ruled he was wrongfully terminated and Minnesota State has to give him his HC job back if he wants it.
He takes it and goes back to Minnesota State, but the players are now boycotting because they fell in the love with the interim coach and want him to coach them.
Um, awkward? And total shite show.

So awkward.
Unless he treated those players badly I don't understand their behavior.
I know the last interim(his OC) was good, but he had success there before the shite went down.

Woah, awkward is right. I feel for the original coach though.
Did the University frick him in any way?
The players might like the new guy simply bc he's better than the original couch. But if the University forced him out he could be looking at some retribution.

I thought the Coach should have been loyal to the school that hired him instead of returning to Minnesota anyway.

That's really fricked up. Now that the players have "shown support" for the interim guy, they need to get back to practicing tho IMO.

I've been following this story, and it's awful what the original head coach has been put through. I can't believe the players walked out yesterday. The original coach is the one that got the program turned around and ready for success.

Why are we talking about the coach? First why did the employee search his pics. Second how doesn't employee know it's his kids. Third is employee still employed.
Forth how can cops arrest him for his kids pics. Lol.

What a completely ridiculous story all around. I feel bad for the Coach.

At first I thought that he should have just gone with the new school. Then I saw that the new school was Minot State in North Dakota and changed my mind.

What I wanna know is... who was the absolute moron who turned his phone in to police for having pictures of his own kids taking a bath on his phone? How in the world could that be misconstrued as child pornography?

That is the crux of the case.

Oh see I didn't read this right. Originally I thought he had pics of his team in the shower and I was really confused about the whole thing. Now I realize it was his children, what an odd story, poor guy

I'm honestly surprised the court have him the option of getting his job back given the way shite went down. What if he has a few losing season?
