We talk a bunch of what we think are positions of need and that we should address this year. We even get down to player we want and elevate that to anger when those players are not selected. Let's flip this around for a change. What positions would piss you off if we used a 1st (or even 2nd/3rd) round picks on? We speak often of our faith in the FO and supporting them regardless of their choice, but there's got to be a limit to that which will put you over the edge.

I would list the following:

S, TE, RB, DE

That's really about it for me. Yes I did not list QB, and that was intentional. I feel that if a Bridgewater were to drop then taking him would be fine. I would prefer a trade out for future 1st scenario, but I would also be down with solidifying our future at the most important position on the team.

RB, DL, S in the first. After that nothing would relly bother me as I like BPA. I'm just really hoping for WR in the first.

If Ebron somehow slips, I'd be happy to pick him up. Could have a Gronk/Hernandez type situation, but without the murders.

DE

Junior can void his 2015 season with 12 sacks this year. Having someone like Ealy rotating in to keep him "fresh" could help insure that we have Galette on the cheap for two more years. Plus Jordan can move into the inside occasionally on passing downs.

-I think another pass rusher would be nice, being that Butler is pretty much an unknown, coming of an ACL tear, and on a 1 year contract.

-I'd rather get a Center after the 2nd, but if we "reached" for one in Round 1 (ie like Dallas last year) and he became a legit starter from Day 1, then it would be really hard to complain.

-Watson is a fine 2nd TE, but could definitely be upgraded.

I would put teddy up there in my pissed off list or any QB for that matter.

Only QB, P or K would piss me off.

That's about it. There aren't any future franchise QBs in this draft that are 1st round worthy at our draft position, IMO.

There aren't any 1st round RBs this year, IMO.

The rest are obvious.

Honestly, I'd be OK with any other position if the FO felt they were the BPA.

I'd be cool with a kicker in the 1st if you told me he was money from 55 and under every time.

No more Hartley nonsense.

QB, RB, FB, TE*, C, G, S, P, K

I'd be good with any position other than those.

*unless Ebron drops, which I don't see happening

I still wouldn't like this. We have such a need at WR that we would be putting everything into the TE position. The money that is about to be given Graham makes this a luxury pick that just isn't the right thing to do. I wouldn't be pissed at it, but I would not like it

Any DL position, pass-rushing OLB. That's honestly it for me.

You can make a decent case for every other position needing future starters and such. I am aware that 1st rd Picks are usually expected to start their 1st yr and 2-3rd guys are expected to start within 2 seasons (typical scout mantra) but we're so far down in the round that I wouldn't be upset with a future guy at that point.

I am happy with what this team does. They know what they need better than us.

As long as we don't pick a FB, P, K, LS, or S then I'm good...maybe add RB

2015 could see us with none of our current OLB starters. does that not change your mind?
