Pushing 8min without a "be with you in a sec" or any acknowledgment. And there's 2 of them now. Sitting at the bar, I'm about to walk out and do my usual bulldog Mondays. I hope they read this. fricking unreal. 13min until I got a drink and they are dead.

Bartenders suck there. They must have a good hourly wage because they act like they don't want your business.

You're a piece of shite. Now the bartender likely has to pay for it.

screw that. the bartender is at fault for ignoring a customer for that length of time... hell, for any length of time. If the scenario here is accurate, then that bartender has nobody to blame but himself for whatever cost he must pay now, if any. so get out of here with your arrogance and crashing soap box

You are wrong.

Nothing worse than waiting on a bartender when the place is empty.

What's worse is I manage a bar so I'm critiquing everything and at first have him the benefit of doubt. But as he was making these bloody Mary's for guests next to me, a simple "be with you in a sec" would be nice. He wasn't running food or anything, just standing there. I'm guessing college student or fresh out of school and never had a job. I emailed dat dog, nothing tashy or bashing them but simply explained why I had a bad experience and that they need to address the problem. From past experiences, those bartenders love thier iPhones...

If you are a daytime bartender you've got to be on your game. Developing relationships and making conversation builds regular clientele which results in more$$$ in your pocket. When I lived in th FQ, Erin Rose was my go to day drinking spot not only for the Guinness, but Tandy or Mollie would always make you feel at home and provide great hospitality.

This.
I can't stand visiting a slow bar and having to deal with bad bartenders who also have a bad personality.
