SpaceX launch NOT @ 3:58 today. Link inside. SCRUBBED - lame.

Webcast - should start around 2:30
This is an unmanned ISS resupply mission.
Of note, they're planning on attempting a "recovery" (simulated) of the 1st stage in which it will do a deorbit burn, and then descend in a controlled fashion in to the Atlantic, like controlled enough to land safely if it was over land instead of water. See this Grashopper video for an idea of what I'm talking about.

I think it's the first one they are trying to save the rocket on. I read this morning they are putting success at around a 30-40% chance. More for troubleshooting and gathering data, but a capture would be a bonus. Something like the rocket costs $54 million, but fuel only costs $200k, so it's a major money saver.

These guys are getting paid by NASA or the government to do this work I assume. Is it costing them less to do it than it was for NASA?

I would assume because the time to launch, when trying to reach a certain destination thousands of miles above Earth, that is traveling at thousands of miles per hour, isn't just randomly picked when every one has free time.
