He's falling out of rotation Gordon for Hibbert would be solid if it mathematically worked. He doesn't look happy and mahimini and scola are stealing his minutes. Not that it would ever happen but if I was Roy I would be thinking this.

Hibbert has basically quit on his team this last month. For no reason what so ever.

And Mahini and Scola arent "stealing" his minutes. Roy is basically giving them those minutes because hes not playing hard and has played like shite all season long.

Since the All Star break, hes averaging 9.4ppg, and 4.6rebs. And hes supposed to be 1 of the best C in the game. And hes 7'2. The only reason a 7'2 guy that plays 30mpg cant average over 5 rebs per game is because he isnt trying.

I may get destroyed for this but I think Hibbert is over rated

I didn't say he's not good or that I wouldn't fap like crazy if we got him (bc trust me I want him) but I think he's over rated

He got that max deal after he came on strong in the playoffs...he wasn't setting the world on fire during the regular season but the NBA gives out big contracts based on potential

Corrected some real bad spelling errors

You should. We've been starting borderline roster players at C all season.

Bigs with a pulse have high demand so they're paid well. That's just how the league works.

Yea you're right, the Pacers would consider a Gordon for Hibbert swap.

Oh Im not saying I wouldnt love this trade

Just saying that Hibbert has looked bad recently and has basically quit on the team.

And the Pacers would never do this trade. Never.

Not over rated, he's not used right. Paul George takes too many shots a game

Hibbert shoots 9.3 FGA per game. The most he has ever averaged per game is 11. George may shoot a few shots too much per game, but Hibbert has never been an aggressive offensive player.

Check out his stats for his entire career. Hes 1 of the highest paid centers in the game. And I get that centers get overpaid but to the supply and demand. But man... his stats are average. His best year he has averaged 12.8ppg, 8.8rebs, and 2.0 blocks. Hes a C and has never shot over 50% from the field.

This year, hes averaging 11ppg, 6.6rebs, and 2.3blocks. Since the All Star break its been 9.4ppg, and 4.6rebs per game. And when hes on the floor, the Pacers are -4.5 in + / (-). You almost have to purposely not try and get more than 4.6rebs a game at 7'2 playing 30mpg.

I wouldnt say hes not used right. I would just say that hes never been the dominant Center that people think he is and make him out to be. Hes big, but not that physical and isnt that good at posting someone up. He has a solid mid range game and a great running hook shot, but he has never just physically dominated other players and bully them out the way.

And hes been acting like a little bitch the past month and playing like shite. Not sure what the problem is, but he is acting like a prima donna recently.

Id still love the trade But I would say hes overrated a bit. And the Pacers would never do the trade anyways.

Hibbert is horrible. My roomate is somehow convinced he is the 2nd best center behind Howard. I Gasol, Noah, healthy Lopez, Cousins, Jefferson are easily better. Hell id take Deandre Jordan before Hibbert also

All of this could be true and a Gordon for Hibbert swap would still be fantastic.

PT has lost its mind on Hibbert. Counting stats don't tell us everything about a player. He is the best defensive center in the NBA.

He has holes. He is not much of a threat on offense if he isn't getting OREB and his rebounding and attitude have been poor for a few months now. That is alarming. But he is the anchor of the best defense since the 07-08 Celtics (lockout year excluded).

Howard, Noah, and Gasol are better overall centers. Al Jefferson and Boogie have arguably had better seasons. But no center in the league can do what Hibbert does on defense.

I would trade Gordon and an unprotected 2015 first rounder for him.

Holiday/Jackson
Evans/Rivers/Morrow
MLE/Miller/Babbit
Davis/Anderson
Hibbert/Withey/Ajinca

They can bring back the hometown hero. Doubt they would do it as a healthy lineup should make our pick mid round at best.
